Geralt From The Witcher Confirmed as Soulcalibur 6 Character

After a week of speculation, Bandai Namco and CD Projekt Red have confirmed that Geralt of Rivia will appear as a guest character in Soulcalibur 6.

The hero of The Witcher series was shown off in a new trailer, which you can watch below:

Geralt will be voiced by original voice actor Doug Cockle, and brings with him a Kaer Morhen stage to fight across. The soundtrack for the stage will be "Hunt or Be Hunted" from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Geralt makes sense as a Soulcalibur guest - he's got the old-timey aesthetic, focus on swordplay, and a touch of magic for good measure. We've already seen him using a series of his Sign spells, so it seems he'll be able to mix things up a little.

Yucatan is the neo-Mexican space punk racer you've been waiting for

It's really been far too long since we last saw a neo-Mexican space punk racing game, hasn't it? I've certainly been waiting a fair while for one, which makes the arrival of Yucatan's demo earlier this month such a pleasant surprise; this ticks all the right boxes. The work of developer Joe Bain - with a little help from his friends - Yucatan plays like a tequilla-soaked Trackmania (and there's probably a fair dose of peyote included in that cocktail, too), a psychedelic racer that pits your gloriously proportioned ride against a series of impossibly cruel tracks. Dig down into the detail and there's a lot to like.
